In a recently resurfaced interview with The Daily Beast, Roseanne Barr claimed that comedian and noted Trump critic Louis C.K. would soon be embroiled in a sex scandal, and that the comedian locks female comedians and writers in a room then forces them to watch as he masturbates.

Barr’s interview with The Daily Beast occurred in June of 2016, and was in the context of the allegations against legendary comedian Bill Cosby. Barr claimed that “it’s not just Bill Cosby,” and that “some of the biggest comics, males, are doing some terrible things.”

Barr also added that “they’re about to get busted.”

The interview has received new attention as major Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey stands accused of attempting to rape a 14-year-old boy. Spacey, who wrote a page long non-apology on Twitter, stands accused of exploiting the gay community in an attempt to avoid criticism for his alleged relationship with the minor.

From The Daily Beast:

“I’ve been speaking up,” she said, pausing briefly before naming names. “It’s Louis C.K., locking the door and masturbating in front of women comics and writers. I can’t tell you—I’ve heard so many stories. Not just him, but a lot of them. And it’s just par for the course. It’s just shit women have to put up with.” (Louis C.K.’s rep did not respond to a request for comment.)

In a follow-up email to The Daily Beast, Barr added, “These allegations [against Louis C.K.] have been leveled and talked about for years. I do not have first hand knowledge, though have heard women make these allegations.”

C.K. was also accused of predatory behavior in a 2015 Death And Taxes article which questioned if fellow comedian Jen Kirkman intended to “out” C.K. in an episode of her podcast. At the time, all evidence seemed to suggest that Kirkman was describing C.K. when writing about the nameless perverted comedian, suggesting he is a “very famous comic,” who is “possibly at Cosby level” and produces “new material every year.”

Stop A Commie

C.K. is known for his commitment to creating an entire new hour-long comedy routine every year.

In 2017 Kirkman would go on to clarify that C.K. never acted inappropriately around her. However, Kirkman would not go as far as to say her now-deleted podcast was not about C.K.

While Barr has backed off her accusations in recent years, a 2015 tweet suggests she is not alone in her belief about C.K.
