Kid Rock is an absolute madman.
Department of Memes has covered the Michigan-based rock musician since he hinted at running as a Republican for the U.S. Senate in 2018, and we’ve had the chance to see him absolutely smoke the political correctness and fake news pervasive in modern culture.
A prime example is a Facebook post by Rock yesterday, on the first Sunday of the NFL season. In the lengthy, wandering post, the musician addressed a variety of issues, including supposed racism and the infamous national anthem protests started by Colin Kaepernick and others.
“To be clear – Fuck ANYONE who takes a knee or sits during our national anthem!” the outspoken rock artist wrote. “Pretty sure if Russell Wilson or Tom Brady were doing it they would have no problem finding a job playing for any team they wanted in the NFL! So cut the bullshit!”

The latter half was an obvious smackdown directed at Kaepernick, whose supporters allege his current unemployment is due to racism rather than lack of talent.
Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, also took time to lampoon the media for trying to spread division and fake news. “People! Pay NO attention to the garbage the extreme left is trying to create. (And by the way, fuck the extreme left and the extreme right!)”
He continued, “They are trying to use the old confederate flag BS, etc. to stir the pot, when we all know none of this would be going on if I were not thinking of running for office” – referencing the media’s use of his association with the Confederate battle flag to portray him as a racist.
“Pretty funny how scared I have them all and their only agenda is to label people / me racist who do not agree or cower to them!! No one had a word to say when we sold out the 6 shows at the LCA back in January! My track record in Detroit and Michigan speaks for itself, and I would dare anyone talking trash to put theirs up against mine. I am also a homeowner and taxpayer in the city of Detroit, so suck on that too!” the rockstar concluded about the media coverage of his political aspirations.
The man is clearly a fucking legend at this point.
Kid Rock has not yet officially declared his candidacy for the U.S. Senate, but many are hoping that he will be taking his brash-talking, no-nonsense attitude to Washington in 2018 and set about helping President Donald Trump drain the Democrat swamp once and for all.
