As the so-called NFL kneelers continue to protest the National Anthem during the opening minutes of every football game, their ratings continue to gradually fall into oblivion.

Deadline reports the ratings for the September 24 football game between the Washington Redskins and Oakland Raiders received 11.6/20 in the ratings.

“The worst SNF has performed this season so far, that’s an 8% dip from the early numbers of last week’s Atlanta Falcon’s 34-23 win over the Green Bay Packers. Gaining cheers and boos from fans at FedEx Field in Maryland last night, the third week of SNF for the 2017-2018 season declined 10% from early numbers of the comparable game of last year on September 25, 2016.

Their spectacular failure comes after President Trump repeatedly called out the protesters.

He began his tirade against the kneelers during a campaign event in Alabama, as Department of Memes covered last week.

God Emperor Trump

The president called the National Anthem protest “a total disrespect to our heritage,” and “a total disrespect to everything that we stand for” before noting that the NFL was already suffering from poor ratings, possibly as a result.

Then over the weekend and into Monday morning, President Trump began using Twitter as a platform to call for an end to the protest in both tweets and retweets.

Stop A Commie

President Trump also retweeted several users’ thoughts about the protest, including an urge to boycott the NFL.
